A course to remind us about our humanness, our capacity to bare witness to your emotional body and to allow the deep unconscious part of us to express itself through somatic expression, sound and catharsis. 

Finally a course to allow ourselves to take ourselves back into our infancy and express what has not been able to be processed. 

  This Course will provide teachers, coaches, healers and serious students a 25 hours Continue Education Units from Yoga Alliance.

Why would this course be good for you?

Timely and Relevant 

 

In this ever increasingly stressful world we need to learn healthy ways to cope and create an internal safety net for ourselves.

One important aspect for us to rewire our body and nervous system is to have a safe container for expression.

Unfortunately our recent experiences with Covid, mandates, relocation,  career change, misinformation and

in some cases- death, could overstimulate our nervous system making it harder for us to make sense of the world.

if we are NOT learning about healthy ways to cope with our reality, we are probably experiencing trauma.

Trauma often polarizes our emotions between

too much to bear and numbness.

Avoiding conversations about this inadequacy

we normalize it. Being a social specie, we mostly thrive when collaborating and integrating in community.

 Our disconnection to each other creates less transparency, less trust, less tolerance and less empathy as a culture of isolation becomes the symptom of our time.

This course will provide tools of conscious communication so that we feel safe to share and

hold space for others to do the same.

 Embodiment practices 

There is a lot of confusion about what is emotionally appropriate in our modern society.

Winston Churchill coined the phrase "Business as usual"

to motivate people to put their feelings aside and carry on during the war..

Sadly witnessing yet another war the

"Business as usual" mindset

may just perpetuate our disconnect with ourselves, our capacity to feel and show emotion.

A society without their feelings is a society without their heart and their power.

This course will give you a daily dose of embodiment practices to honestly experience your most intimate emotions. In a safe closed container we will utilize the body to express and release trauma.

This is a process where the body will inform your mind. Not the other way around. You will learn about the vasovagal system and how to de-code the language of your body and own your emotions.

 

Healthy Boundaries Setting

Knowing when to say YES and when to say  NO

could be one of the most valuable things

you will  learn in life.

When we are not present to what feeds us and what depletes us, we are not only dishonoring our innate flow of life but also restricting the flow of the person in need.

Many of us have witness as role models 

self-sacrificial behavior and passive aggressiveness in response to the demanding rhythms of life.

So how we can create a different response? 

Meditation and pranayama are the tools we will use to relinquish the attachment to our thoughts and

set new boundaries within ourselves. 

Only mastering boundaries with our own habitual urge,

 we can relate and apply it to the world around us.

This course will provide you with the discernment and the voice to take responsibility of your choices!

Even if you see it, you always have a choice.

Founder of The Bridge Program and Lanai Yoga. Renata was a devoted teacher in NYC for 18 years recently moving to Hawaii and opening her own Yoga Shala. Renata is certified in many different styles of yoga including: Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative as well as Trauma informed Yoga, cancer care and off the mat leadership. Renata’s hope is to be able to share the wisdom of the body facilitating embodiment practices and conscious communication. Being a multifaceted teacher Renata integrates energy of the subtle body with ancient philosophy to embrace all expressions of life and in it she believes true change can happen.

Patricia began her journey into Yoga more than three decades ago with Sharon Gannon and David Life at Jivamukti Yoga Center in New York City.

She  made numerous visits to Mysore India, the birthplace of the Ashtanga Lineage and had the great honor of studying under the founder of the Ashtanga Yoga, PK Pattabhi Jois during his visits to the states.

Patricia went on to study under the tutelage of many great teachers, including Richard Freeman and Tim Miller.  Patricia is most grateful for the age-old healing methods of yoga and she is
guided in her daily life by the 8-limbs of this sacred, ancient tradition.

In Feb 2015, without ever having stepped foot at Revolution I signed up for Yoga Teacher Training. YTT helped me find myself and embrace the true me. It was the best gift I ever gave myself. Yoga has helped me look at things from a whole different perceptive. I teach kids and adults, Restorative, Beginners, Flow, Gentle. Each type of class has it’s special thing I love about it.  When a new student steps on the mat it fills me with joy, Restorative Yoga holds a special space in my heart as it is so healing. Today I host Reiki Certification trainings and YTTs.

I honestly did not know that I had so much could grief inside of me. Renata showed me in the most loving way to keep my heart open even when I experienced heart breaking grief. I am grateful to fully feel my grief.
